About the role
Eden Group's AI department is looking for a hands-on engineer who can take an idea from a blank page to a working product. You'll design, build, test, and ship AI-powered tools, working closely with stakeholders across the business to turn real problems into reliable software. This role suits someone who enjoys ownership, moves quickly, and cares about quality.
What you'll do
Build AI products from 0 to 1: scope requirements, prototype, iterate, and deliver production-ready solutions.
Write clean, maintainable Python for backend services, data pipelines, and AI integrations.
Containerize applications with Docker and support smooth deployment across environments.
Write and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to keep releases stable.
Integrate and evaluate AI tools and models (LLM APIs, frameworks, and emerging tooling) to find the right fit for each use case.
Collaborate with product, operations, and leadership to prioritize features and gather feedback.
Document your work so others can understand, use, and extend it.
What we're looking for
1+ years of professional experience with Python.
Solid working knowledge of Docker, including writing Dockerfiles and using Docker Compose.
A track record of building a product or feature from scratch through to launch.
Experience writing test cases with frameworks such as pytest, and a habit of testing as you build.
Hands-on familiarity with AI tools and platforms, such as LLM APIs (Claude, OpenAI), LangChain or similar frameworks, prompt engineering, and AI-assisted coding tools.
Comfortable with Git, REST APIs, and working in an agile environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with limited guidance.
Nice to have
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and CI/CD pipelines.
Knowledge of vector databases, RAG systems, or AI agents.
Frontend experience or familiarity with a web framework such as FastAPI, Django, or Flask.
Startup or early-stage product experience.
