Role Description The Commercial Interior Architect is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru. This role involves developing interior architectural concepts for commercial spaces, preparing design proposals, and collaborating with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure design intent is implemented accurately. Day-to-day responsibilities include space planning, creating detailed drawings and specifications, coordinating interior fit-out activities, selecting materials and finishes, and ensuring designs meet functional, aesthetic, safety, and regulatory requirements. The role also requires regular site visits to review progress, resolve design issues, and maintain alignment with project timelines and budgets, while communicating effectively with clients and internal teams.
Qualifications
Strong skills in Space Planning and Interior Design for commercial environments.
Proficiency in Architecture and Interior Architecture, including technical detailing and building codes.
Hands-on experience with Interior Fit-out projects, from concept through execution.
Ability to use design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar tools).
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Architecture, or Interior Design, or a closely related field.
Experience working on commercial projects (offices, retail, hospitality, or similar) is highly beneficial.
Strong project coordination, time management, and stakeholder communication skills.
Attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and willingness to collaborate on-site with multidisciplinary teams.
