Software Enginer

Role Description
We are seeking a technically proficient and solution-focused Software Engineer to develop, enhance, and maintain reliable software applications and systems. The role involves understanding business and technical requirements, designing effective solutions, writing quality code, and supporting software throughout the development lifecycle.
Key responsibilities include designing and implementing software components, developing new features, reviewing source code, identifying and resolving technical issues, and performing software testing and debugging. The Software Engineer will collaborate with product managers, business analysts, QA specialists, designers, and other engineers to deliver solutions that satisfy functional, technical, and quality requirements.
The role also involves improving existing applications, optimizing performance, integrating APIs and external services, working with databases, supporting deployment processes, and maintaining technical documentation. The Software Engineer will contribute to development standards, system reliability, security, scalability, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
Strong understanding of software development principles, programming concepts, data structures, and algorithms.
Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, C++, JavaScript, TypeScript, or Go.
Familiarity with object-oriented programming, software architecture, design patterns, and clean coding practices.
Understanding of relational databases, SQL, data modeling, and data management concepts.
Familiarity with RESTful APIs, web services, microservices, and system integration.
Knowledge of Git and modern collaborative software development workflows.
Understanding of testing methodologies, debugging techniques, version control, deployment, and release processes.
Familiarity with cloud platforms, CI/CD, containers, or DevOps tools is an advantage.
Understanding of software security, scalability, performance optimization, and system reliability.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
Ability to develop clean, efficient, testable, secure, and maintainable software.
