Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Engineer role based in Marmagao. The Sales Engineer will work closely with clients to understand their technical and business requirements, present suitable solutions, and support the sales cycle from lead generation to closure. Daily tasks include conducting product demonstrations, preparing proposals, responding to technical queries, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of solutions. The role involves maintaining ongoing communication with customers, providing post-sales technical support, and documenting feedback to help improve offerings and service quality. The Sales Engineer will also contribute to market research, identify new business opportunities, and uphold professional service standards aligned with Jyoti Placement Services’ values.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Sales Engineering and Technical Support skills to understand client requirements and translate them into effective solutions.
Candidates should possess solid Sales and Customer Service skills to manage the sales process, build relationships, and ensure client satisfaction.
Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate with internal teams.
Relevant experience in technical or engineering-related sales, preferably in a service-oriented or consulting environment.
Ability to work on-site in Marmagao, manage multiple client engagements, and prioritize tasks effectively.
Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and attention to detail in evaluating client needs and designing solutions.
Diploma or degree in engineering, science, business, or a related field is beneficial; equivalent practical experience is also valued.
Comfort with basic office software, documentation tools, and CRM platforms is an advantage.
