Role: Software Developer – ASP.NET Core MVC (Full Stack .NET)
We are looking for a passionate and skilled ASP.NET Core MVC Developer who will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and migrating existing applications to .NET Core 3.1 or higher versions.
This is a full-stack development role where you will work across back-end and client-side technologies, contributing to high-quality, high-performance enterprise applications. You will play a key role in solution design, application architecture, performance optimization, and delivering robust, maintainable code.
Key Responsibilities
Application Development & Migration
Understand existing applications and rewrite/migrate them to the latest versions of .NET Core.
Design and develop high-quality ASP.NET Core MVC applications.
Build and consume Web APIs using ASP.NET Core.
Design and implement clean, scalable application layers.
Performance & Quality
Ensure optimal performance, responsiveness, and scalability of applications.
Write unit test cases using XUnit.
Follow coding best practices, maintain code quality, and participate in code reviews.
Requirement Analysis & Solution Design
Analyze functional and technical requirements.
Design and implement new features and enhancements.
Contribute to architectural decisions and technical improvements.
Technical Skills Required
Strong proficiency in C#
Experience with .NET Core 2.1 or higher
Hands-on experience in developing ASP.NET Core MVC applications
Experience in building Web APIs using ASP.NET Core
Proficient knowledge of ADO.NET / Dapper
Strong experience with MS SQL Server
Database design, indexing, and data integrity
Knowledge of NoSQL databases is an added advantage
Experience writing unit tests using XUnit
Understanding of HTML, JavaScript, CSS
Familiarity with jQuery
Exposure to Azure Web Apps or AWS Cloud
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field
3–8 years of hands-on experience in .NET development
Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
Good understanding of software development lifecycle and best practices
