About the Role
We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure, automation, and production operations to support complex B2B SaaS deployments.
The role involves owning end-to-end customer deployments across cloud, BYOC, air-gapped, and data-center environments. You will work closely with Engineering, Product, and Customer teams to troubleshoot production issues, improve reliability, and automate deployment and operational workflows.
This is a highly hands-on, customer-facing role with production ownership and participation in on-call/shift rotations, including critical customer escalations outside standard working hours.
Key Responsibilities
Own end-to-end customer deployments across cloud, BYOC, air-gapped, and data-center environments.
Deploy, operate, troubleshoot, and scale production environments using Kubernetes, Helm, and Terraform.
Troubleshoot complex issues across Kubernetes, networking, infrastructure, applications, storage, and deployments.
Build and maintain observability, monitoring, alerting, and reliability capabilities.
Manage production incidents and customer escalations through to resolution.
Automate deployment, infrastructure provisioning, and operational workflows.
Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Customer teams to resolve complex production challenges.
Participate in on-call and shift rotations and handle critical customer escalations when required.
Contribute to high availability, disaster recovery, reliability, and scalable multi-tenant SaaS infrastructure.
Must-Have Skills & Experience
6+ years of hands-on DevOps experience in enterprise SaaS or B2B SaaS environments.
Strong experience deploying, operating, troubleshooting, and scaling production environments.
Hands-on experience owning end-to-end customer/enterprise deployments.
Strong hands-on expertise in Kubernetes, including:
Workloads
Networking
Storage
RBAC
Security
Troubleshooting
Strong hands-on experience with Helm, including deployment, templating, and troubleshooting.
Hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and automation.
Strong Linux and cloud infrastructure troubleshooting skills.
Hands-on experience with observability covering metrics, logs, traces, monitoring, and alerting.
Experience with one or more major cloud platforms: AWS, GCP, Azure, or OCI.
Strong production troubleshooting and incident-management experience.
Experience working in a B2B SaaS / SaaS product company.
Preferred Skills
Experience with BYOC, air-gapped, restricted-network, or data-center deployments.
Experience with observability tools such as:
Prometheus
Grafana
OpenTelemetry
ELK / OpenSearch
Datadog
Experience with GitOps and CI/CD.
Python or Golang scripting/programming for automation.
Experience with multi-tenant SaaS infrastructure and scaling.
Exposure to AI/ML pipeline deployments or iPaaS / reverse ETL connectors.
Understanding of SRE practices, including SLIs, SLOs, high availability, and disaster recovery.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is a strong, hands-on DevOps professional who is comfortable taking ownership of production environments and solving complex infrastructure and deployment problems. The role requires someone who can work directly with customers during critical incidents while collaborating effectively with internal Engineering and Product teams.
A "fix first, optimize later" mindset and strong production ownership are essential.
Additional Requirements
Willingness to work in on-call / shift rotations when required.
Comfortable handling critical customer escalations outside standard working hours.
Candidates based outside Gurugram or Hyderabad should be open to relocation to either location.
