About Indieverse Studio
Indieverse Studio is a bootstrapped innovation lab based in Bangalore. Founded in 2022, we build and deploy technology solutions for enterprise and government clients—from
custom AI applications, voice agents, and Slack/Teams chatbots to VR/MR experiences. We’re also developing a mystery survival VR game for Meta Quest and SteamVR.
We’re a small team looking for a hands-on Technical Project Manager to own our B2B client projects from kickoff through delivery and ongoing support.
About the role
You’ll connect clients and engineers, turn business needs into clear technical requirements, and keep multiple projects moving. You’ll also investigate issues, test builds,
explore solutions, and support proposals and demos.
This role suits someone who enjoys broad ownership and can take a loosely defined problem through to a working solution. Depending on the week, you could be scoping an AI
application, testing a VR experience, building a quick proof of concept, or helping a client work through a delivery challenge.
What you’ll do
- Own client communication, including kickoffs, progress updates, demos, issue resolution, and conversations about scope and timelines.
- Translate client requests into clear requirements and work with engineers to define practical technical approaches.
- Break projects into milestones, coordinate delivery across concurrent projects, and identify risks and dependencies early.
- Investigate technical issues by reproducing problems, checking logs, and narrowing down causes before escalating to engineering.
- Test AI applications, chatbots, and VR experiences before client demos and releases.
- Support pre-sales with proposals, solution outlines, estimates, pitch decks, and demos.
- Handle project documentation, vendor coordination, and contract and invoicing follow-ups.
What we’re looking for
- 2–5 years of experience managing client-facing technical projects in a startup, agency, IT services, or consulting environment.
- Technical fluency: you can read API documentation, understand system architecture, use tools like Postman, and discuss implementation trade-offs with engineers.
- The ability to explore solutions and use AI coding tools to build a quick proof of concept.
- Strong written and verbal communication, including confidence working with enterprise and government stakeholders.
- Comfort with ambiguity and the initiative to move work forward independently.
- Familiarity with project management tools such as Notion, Jira, or Linear, and regular use of AI tools such as ChatGPT or Claude.
- A strong sense of ownership for project outcomes and client experience.
Good to have
- Previous experience in software development, QA, solutions engineering, or technical pre-sales.
- Experience delivering AI, VR/AR, or other emerging technology projects.
- Familiarity with LLMs, RAG, chatbots, or game engines.
- Exposure to enterprise or government procurement processes.
- Basic scripting or SQL skills.
- Experience working in a small startup or founding team.
Working with us
You’ll report directly to the CEO and work closely with a small team of engineers and creators. We offer flexible working hours with clear ownership of delivery. We use Discord
for day-to-day communication.
The team is currently working remotely and will move to a Bangalore hybrid setup with 3 days in office and 2 days WFH.
