Role Description As a Senior PHP Developer at Schotech Private Limited, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust web applications and backend services using PHP and related technologies. You will collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and efficient technical solutions. Daily tasks include writing clean, well-documented code, performing code reviews, optimizing application performance, integrating third-party APIs, and troubleshooting production issues. You will also mentor junior developers, contribute to architecture decisions, and help improve development processes and coding standards. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Rewari.
Qualifications
Strong proficiency in Back-End Web Development and Programming, with extensive experience in PHP and related frameworks (such as Laravel or Symfony).
Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and design patterns, applied to real-world software solutions.
Experience in Software Development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
Working knowledge of Front-End Development fundamentals (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and ability to collaborate effectively with front-end teams.
Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL), RESTful APIs, version control systems (Git), and basic Linux server environments.
Ability to write secure, optimized, and maintainable code, with attention to performance and scalability.
Strong problem-solving skills, communication skills, and ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience; prior experience in a senior or lead developer role is preferred.
