We are seeking a hands-on SAP Integration Manager to serve as the internal integration authority for a greenfield SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud implementation.
This is not a coordination-only position. The successful candidate will combine integration architecture and governance leadership with hands-on development using SAP Integration Suite (CPI), Groovy, APIs, and SAP BTP. This individual will define the enterprise integration strategy, build complex integrations, establish standards, and provide technical oversight of the System Integrator.
Key responsibilities:
Own the SAP integration architecture, governance, standards, and roadmap
Establish reusable integration patterns, templates, naming conventions, security standards, monitoring, and error-handling practices
Champion clean-core and API-first principles using SAP-approved OData and SOAP APIs
Evaluate SAP Business Accelerator Hub content before approving custom development
Review and approve SI designs, iFlows, and technical decisions
Configure and manage SAP Integration Suite, SAP Cloud Connector, BTP subaccounts, Destination Service, and Credential Store
Build complex production iFlows and Groovy-based transformation and routing logic
Integrate SAP with platforms such as Salesforce, Workday, Snowflake, Procore, Vertex, and internal applications
Manage OAuth2, API keys, certificates, credentials, and secure connectivity
Lead integration testing, cutover, hypercare, monitoring, and production-readiness activities
Maintain integration inventories, architecture artifacts, runbooks, and support procedures
Required qualifications:
Seven or more years of SAP integration experience
At least one SAP S/4HANA or ECC implementation; greenfield experience is preferred
Three or more years of hands-on SAP Integration Suite/CPI development experience
Strong knowledge of S/4HANA Public Cloud integration and API-only architecture
Experience using SAP Business Accelerator Hub and standard integration content
Hands-on expertise with OData V2/V4, REST, SOAP, and IDoc integrations
Advanced Groovy scripting experience
Experience with SAP Cloud Connector and core BTP services
Strong knowledge of OAuth2, API security, certificates, and credential management
Experience establishing integration governance and operational support frameworks
Ability to review and challenge System Integrator designs and enforce technical quality standards
Willingness and ability to travel heavily across the United States and Canada
Preferred experience:
SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud or GROW with SAP
SAP API Management, Event Mesh, or Advanced Event Mesh
CI/CD pipelines for CPI deployments
Salesforce, Workday, Snowflake, Procore, or Vertex integrations
Boomi migration or coexistence strategies
SAP Activate and BTP side-by-side extensions
Manufacturing, construction, or project-based industry experience
