Senior Test Manager / Test Lead – Banking Modernization

We are hiring a Senior Test Manager/Test Lead to support a major servicing modernization program for one of the nation’s leading banks. This individual will lead Finance and General Ledger testing while managing critical testing activities and dependencies across several interconnected workstreams.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Finance and GL testing across SIT, UAT, and end-to-end test cycles.
Validate Oracle/GL integrations, financial transactions, accounting data, and downstream impacts.
Develop test strategies, scenarios, plans, and readiness assessments.
Validate data movement between legacy, servicing, future-state, and financial systems.
Identify critical-path activities and cross-project dependencies affecting go-live.
Lead defect analysis, tracking, and resolution across business and technical teams.
Manage testing risks, milestones, governance, and executive status reporting.
Coordinate with Finance, technology, data, and other program test leads.
Required Experience
10+ years of professional experience, including leadership of testing on large, complex programs.
Strong Finance and General Ledger testing experience within banking or financial services.
Hands-on experience testing Oracle financial systems, GL integrations, and accounting processes.
Deep experience with SIT, UAT, end-to-end testing, defect management, and test governance.
Ability to manage detailed testing while maintaining visibility across the broader program.
Strong Jira and Confluence experience.
Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder-management skills.
Commercial banking and experience supporting servicing, lending, or major financial-system modernization programs are strongly preferred. Zephyr experience is helpful but not required.
