Role Description This remote Social Media Marketing Internship role involves supporting FcC’s online presence and brand awareness across social media platforms. On a day-to-day basis, the intern will assist with planning and scheduling posts, creating engaging content tailored to parents and learners, and monitoring social media channels for comments and messages. The intern will help track basic performance metrics, contribute ideas for campaigns, and collaborate with the marketing team to align content with overall digital marketing goals. This is an internship position, suitable for individuals seeking hands-on experience in social media and digital marketing within an education-focused organization.
Qualifications
Ability to perform Social Media Marketing and Digital Marketing tasks, including basic campaign support and performance tracking.
Skills in Social Media Content Creation, selecting visuals, and adapting messaging for different platforms.
Foundational understanding of Marketing concepts, including audience targeting and brand consistency.
Strong Communication skills, both written and verbal, with attention to clarity and tone appropriate for parents and young learners.
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks in a remote work environment.
Comfort using social media tools and platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, or similar).
Interest in education, edtech, or child development is highly beneficial.
Currently enrolled in, or recently completed, a program in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field is a plus but not required.
