Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a MES Solution Architect – Siemens Opcenter (Camstar) at SARACA. The MES Solution Architect will define and design end-to-end MES solutions using Siemens Opcenter (Camstar), aligning system architecture with client business processes and manufacturing requirements. The role involves gathering and analyzing requirements, creating solution blueprints, configuring and customizing MES functionalities, and overseeing integration with ERP, PLM, automation, and other enterprise systems. The individual will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, provide technical leadership to development teams, and support project planning, estimations, and delivery of MES implementations. Daily responsibilities also include consulting with clients on best practices, conducting design and technical reviews, troubleshooting complex issues, and preparing documentation and training materials to ensure successful adoption of MES solutions.
Qualifications
Demonstrated expertise in Solution Architecture, including designing scalable MES solutions and defining technical roadmaps.
Strong Consulting skills with experience in requirements gathering, stakeholder communication, and advising clients on MES and manufacturing best practices.
Hands-on experience in Software Development related to MES platforms, preferably Siemens Opcenter (Camstar), including configuration and customization.
Proficiency in Integration of MES with ERP, PLM, shop-floor automation, and other enterprise systems, using relevant integration frameworks and tools.
Solid understanding of Business Process modeling and optimization in manufacturing environments, with the ability to translate processes into system workflows.
Experience with regulated industries (e.g., MedTech, Aerospace) and familiarity with quality and compliance standards is highly beneficial.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in remote, distributed teams.
