Financial Analyst

Role Description The Vice President of Procurement is a full-time remote role responsible for leading the development and execution of Satcher Financial Services, Inc.’s procurement strategy. This position oversees sourcing of services, technology, and operational solutions, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and business objectives. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing supplier relationships, negotiating and administering contracts, optimizing supply chain processes for cost efficiency and risk mitigation, and establishing procurement policies and controls. The role collaborates closely with finance, compliance, and operations teams to forecast needs, monitor spend, and implement vendor performance metrics. The Vice President of Procurement also leads a small procurement function, providing strategic guidance, mentoring, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Procurement and Supply Chain Management, including strategic sourcing, vendor evaluation, and spend optimization.
Candidates should possess expertise in Contract Negotiation and Contract Management, with the ability to structure, review, and administer complex agreements.
Candidates should possess experience in Supplier Development, including performance management, risk assessment, and long-term partnership building.
Extensive experience in procurement or supply chain leadership, preferably in financial services, insurance, or other regulated industries.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a remote environment, managing cross-functional relationships and leading virtual teams.
Strong analytical, financial, and data-driven decision-making skills, with proficiency in procurement tools or ERP systems.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with a collaborative and inclusive leadership style.
Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, finance, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certifications (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) are a plus.
