VP of Product

Role Description The VP of Product is a full-time remote role responsible for defining and driving the product vision and roadmap for Satcher Financial Services, Inc. This role oversees the end-to-end lifecycle of insurance and financial solutions, from market research and concept development through launch, iteration, and retirement. The VP of Product will collaborate closely with executive leadership, financial professionals, operations, marketing, and technology partners to ensure products meet client needs, regulatory requirements, and business objectives. Daily responsibilities include analyzing market trends and client feedback, prioritizing product initiatives, setting clear requirements, and guiding cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality offerings on time and within budget. The role also involves establishing product performance metrics, monitoring results, and continuously improving products and processes to enhance client outcomes and firm growth.
Qualifications
Demonstrated expertise in product strategy and product management, including setting vision, defining roadmaps, and managing product lifecycles.
Strong analytical skills with experience using data to inform decisions, assess product performance, and identify opportunities for growth or optimization.
Proven ability in product development, from requirements gathering and design through testing, launch, and iteration in a services or financial context.
Track record of cross-functional team leadership, partnering effectively with operations, compliance, marketing, technology, and sales stakeholders.
Background in financial services, insurance, wealth management, or related fields strongly preferred.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills, with the ability to align diverse teams around shared goals.
Experience working in remote or distributed environments, with strong organizational and self-management capabilities.
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, or a related discipline; advanced degree (MBA or similar) is a plus.
