ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a founding-team seat at an early-stage AI infrastructure startup building the operating layer for AI-native service businesses. The scope is deliberately open: engineering leadership, product, or the operating side of the company, shaped around what you do best. If you can describe what you would own in your first 90 days, the role can be built around that.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Define and own a concrete first-90-day scope across engineering, product, or company operations.
- For the technical leadership track: set engineering direction, make hands-on architectural decisions, and help hire the first engineering team.
- Bring founder-level judgment and pace to a small, high-trust team with no bureaucratic overhead.
- Help shape the product thesis by drawing on direct experience running or building service businesses.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Founded a venture-backed or bootstrapped company, regardless of outcome.
- Served as CTO or first technical hire at a startup, or shipped a product a team still credits you for.
- Alternatively, ran a service business in a vertical that AI-native tooling is beginning to replace.
- Able to articulate a clear, self-directed 90-day plan and thrive in a role built around your strengths rather than a fixed job description.
- For the technical leadership seat: sufficient hands-on depth and judgment to own the engineering roadmap end to end.
- Comfortable operating at the pace and standard of a small founding team.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Compensation and equity are sized for someone building the company, not joining it, and are tailored to the individual. Visa sponsorship and relocation support are available.
LOCATION
On-site. Primary location is Munich, Germany, with the option to be based in San Francisco, London, or Vienna as well.
