Role Description The Team Leader role at Nirmal Bang is a full-time, on-site position based in Kolkata. The Team Leader will oversee a team of financial services professionals, ensuring targets are met and high-quality client service is maintained. Daily responsibilities include monitoring team performance, providing guidance and training, coordinating sales and service activities, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. The role also involves reviewing market research, supporting clients with their investment needs, and collaborating with senior management to implement business strategies. The Team Leader is expected to foster a positive, ethical, and results-oriented work environment while promoting continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Strong leadership, team management, and people development skills to guide and motivate team members.
Solid understanding of equities, derivatives, commodities, currency markets, and other financial products.
Ability to interpret market research, analyze data, and make informed recommendations to clients and team members.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and client relationship management skills.
Experience in stock broking, financial services, or related domains; prior team-leading or supervisory experience preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Commerce, Business, Economics, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., NISM, NCFM) are an advantage.
Strong focus on regulatory compliance, ethical conduct, and risk management.
Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with trading platforms and back-office systems.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet performance targets.
