Role Description The Equity Dealer role is a full-time, on-site position based in New Delhi. The Equity Dealer will execute buy and sell orders in equities and related instruments on behalf of clients, ensuring timely and accurate trade execution within regulatory and internal risk limits. Responsibilities include monitoring market movements, tracking clients’ positions, and providing real-time information to support informed investment decisions. The role involves coordinating with the research and advisory teams, updating clients on order status, and maintaining clear records of trades and transactions. The Equity Dealer will also support client onboarding for trading accounts, adhere to compliance and risk management guidelines, and contribute to a professional and service-focused trading environment.
Qualifications
Strong understanding of the stock market and trading processes, including order types and market mechanics.
Knowledge of equities and equity-related products, with the ability to interpret market data and price movements.
Solid foundation in finance and investments, including risk management and portfolio concepts.
Relevant academic background such as a degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
Proficiency with trading platforms, market terminals, and MS Office tools.
Effective communication and client service skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and strong analytical abilities.
Regulatory certifications or licenses required for dealing roles as per local regulations (or commitment to obtain them).
