Role Description The Barista – Specialty Coffee role at Bruno's Cafe is a full-time, on-site position based in Jalandhar. The barista will prepare and serve a range of specialty coffee drinks, teas, and other beverages, ensuring consistent quality and presentation. Daily responsibilities include greeting guests, taking orders, handling payments, and providing attentive customer service throughout each visit. The role also involves assisting with all-day breakfast and other food preparation, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, restocking supplies, and following food safety and hygiene standards. The barista will collaborate with team members to create a warm, efficient, and guest-focused cafe experience.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Barista skills, including specialty coffee preparation and beverage presentation.
Candidates should possess solid Customer Service and Interpersonal Skills to create a welcoming, guest-centered environment.
Candidates should possess clear Communication skills for interacting with guests and coordinating with team members.
Candidates should possess Food Preparation skills and an understanding of basic kitchen hygiene and safety.
Previous experience in a cafe, coffee shop, or hospitality environment is beneficial.
Ability to stand for extended periods, manage a fast-paced workflow, and work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Basic cash-handling skills and familiarity with point-of-sale systems are an advantage.
