Part-time, remote work for in-house lawyers who negotiate technology contracts for a living and want to help AI systems learn to do it properly.
The role
You will mark up and negotiate simulated agreements, then review how an AI handled the same scenarios: flagging missed risks, misread clauses and weak fallbacks. You will also help design the scoring criteria used to grade the models and share practical guidance with the research team.
You should have
• Three or more years as in-house counsel focused on technology transactions, including master services agreements, NDAs, ISDA and derivatives paperwork
• Sharp drafting and careful proofreading habits
• The ability to turn legal analysis into feedback an engineer can act on
• A collaborative style; you will work with people outside the legal team
• Bonus: earlier involvement in legal-tech, AI or training projects
Terms
Independent contractor, remote, flexible scheduling at about 20 hours a week. Compensation is per completed task (tasks average roughly 3.5 hours); the published hourly equivalent is $90 to $130.
