Algorithmic Problem Solver, Remote Contract (Competitive Programmers Welcome)

Do you enjoy the kind of coding problems where the hard part is thinking, not typing? We are recruiting strong problem-solvers for a paid, part-time, fully remote contract.
What it involves
You are handed self-contained challenges: algorithmic puzzles, tricky debugging scenarios, logic problems, tasks with hidden constraints. You solve them cleanly in a language of your choice, make the result reproducible so it can be checked automatically, and explain your reasoning. Part of the time you review solutions produced by AI systems and pinpoint where they go wrong: missed edge cases, wrong complexity, violated requirements. Your output is used to make those systems better at reasoning about code.
Rough shape of the engagement
~ 15 hours a week, any days you like (weekends included)
~ Remote, working in English
~ Hourly pay between roughly $50 and $80 depending on task mix
~ Independent contractor
What we need from you
1. Serious algorithmic ability: data structures, complexity, correctness arguments
2. Confidence in one or more of Python, C++, Java, Go, Rust, C#, JavaScript or TypeScript
3. Comfort in a terminal and inside code you did not write
4. The habit of writing tests and hunting edge cases
5. Clear technical writing
A competitive-programming record is the quickest way to show this. Applicants with a Codeforces-style profile in the 1600+ range (or higher if your software background is lighter) are a particularly good fit, as are people who have set or judged contest problems.
