Role Description We are looking for a Lead Research Intern to assist with building highly relevant business and investor databases.
The role primarily involves researching companies, professionals, founders, investors, and decision-makers across different industries and identifying the most relevant contacts based on specific criteria.
This is a research-heavy role that requires strong attention to detail, logical thinking, and the ability to identify high-quality and relevant profiles instead of simply collecting data in bulk.
Responsibilities
Research and identify relevant professionals and companies
Find accurate LinkedIn profiles and related information
Maintain and organize lead sheets in a structured manner
Apply provided filters, priorities, and research guidelines while shortlisting leads
Ensure data quality, accuracy, and relevance
Requirements
Strong internet research skills
Familiarity with LinkedIn and online databases
Attention to detail
Ability to follow structured instructions
A good understanding of professional roles and business ecosystems is a plus
Skills
Google Sheets, Excel
Familiarity with LinkedIn
Familiarity with LLM Models like Claude
Python (Beginners)
Compensation
Performance-based for the first two months i.e. training period
Opportunity to take on higher-responsibility work based on performance then we will move to fixed stipend
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys research, spotting relevant information, and working with structured data in the financial ecosystem i.e. VC and wealth management side.
