We are seeking a Clinical Technology Product Owner to drive delivery for interoperability capabilities that enable bidirectional clinical data exchange between payers and providers. This role supports a product within the Interoperability program, leveraging FHIR (Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources) standards to enable seamless, standards-based data exchange across systems. Operating within a modern product model, this role is responsible for translating product strategy into execution, leading delivery of both:
Core interoperability capabilities (APIs, data services, platform features)
Provider-facing workflows that enable adoption and real-world use of these capabilities
This is a highly cross-functional role at the intersection of platform engineering, healthcare workflows, and provider system integration (e.g., EHRs).
Key Responsibilities
Own and manage the team backlog, translating Product Manager priorities into well-defined user stories, clear acceptance criteria, and scalable, testable requirements
Manage and align cross-team and system dependencies to ensure coordinated delivery, minimize risks, and support smooth release and adoption
Track delivery, adoption, and system performance metrics to continuously refine priorities, improve quality, and drive increased adoption
Serve as the primary liaison for delivery and integration, clearly communicating progress, requirements, and value to both internal and external stakeholders
Drive strong agile execution practices while fostering accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement within the team
Drive delivery of core interoperability capabilities, including APIs, integration services, FHIR-aligned data exchange models, and supporting platform features
Partner closely with engineering to support design decisions and technical execution
Understand provider system and EHR integration patterns, including API consumption, version compatibility, and data exchange constraints, and define the internal work needed to address integration gaps and enable adoption
Partner with Product Managers to ensure backlog aligns to interoperability strategy, supports product OKRs, and reflects delivery feasibility, sequencing, and key trade-offs
Required Qualifications
5–7+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, Business Analyst, or similar role in agile environments
Experience delivering API-based, integration-driven, or data platform products
Strong ability to translate business and technical needs into structured, testable requirements
Experience working closely with engineering teams on end-to-end feature delivery
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in healthcare payer or provider domains
Familiarity with provider systems, EHRs, or clinical workflows
Experience supporting external integrations and partner onboarding
Understanding of API design, versioning, and system integration challenges
Experience or familiarity with FHIR-based data exchange and healthcare interoperability standards
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills
Curiosity: collaborates with business partners to understand their strategy, problems, and goals; works with senior leaders to identify opportunities to implement solutions.
Demonstrated relationship management skills ; capacity to quickly build and maintain credible relationships at varying levels of the organization simultaneously.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The salary for this position ranges from $110,000 in our lowest geographic market up to $120,000 in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
