Role Description The Territory Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram, responsible for driving sales and business growth within an assigned territory. The role involves managing and developing distribution channels, building and maintaining relationships with partners and customers, and executing territory-level sales plans to achieve targets. The Territory Manager will monitor market trends and competitor activities, support recruitment and training of sales teams, and ensure adherence to company processes and compliance standards. Day-to-day activities include visiting branches and partner locations, conducting performance reviews, implementing marketing initiatives, and providing regular reports and insights to leadership. The role also requires close collaboration with internal stakeholders to enhance customer experience and strengthen ABSLI’s presence in the region.
Qualifications
Proven skills in territory management, sales planning, and achieving or exceeding business targets.
Experience in relationship management, channel development, and stakeholder engagement within financial services or insurance.
Strong abilities in communication, negotiation, and customer service to effectively interact with partners and policyholders.
Competence in analyzing market data, tracking performance metrics, and using insights to drive strategic decisions.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field; a postgraduate qualification or relevant certifications in insurance or financial services are an advantage.
Familiarity with life insurance products and regulatory requirements in India, along with a high level of integrity and compliance orientation.
Comfort with working on-site in Gurugram, including frequent field visits, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
