Small Cell RF Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Small Cell RF Engineer with strong T-Mobile experience to support small cell RF design, deployment, integration, optimization, and troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities
Support LTE/5G small cell RF design, deployment, integration, and optimization
Perform RF planning, coverage analysis, propagation studies, and link budget calculations
Analyze RF KPIs including RSRP, RSRQ, SINR, throughput, accessibility, and handover performance
Conduct drive testing/walk testing and analyze field data using TEMS, XCAL, or similar tools
Troubleshoot coverage, interference, mobility, and network performance issues
Support small cell configuration, commissioning, and integration
Review RF designs, site surveys, and deployment documentation
Collaborate with RF, deployment, integration, and field teams
Prepare RF performance, testing, and optimization reports
Required Qualifications
Direct T-Mobile RF/Small Cell experience is required
3+ years of RF engineering experience
Strong knowledge of LTE and 5G NR
Experience with RF optimization and KPI analysis
Experience with TEMS, XCAL, Nemo, or similar RF testing tools
Strong understanding of RF fundamentals, propagation, coverage, capacity, and interference
Knowledge of LTE/5G mobility, handovers, and RF parameter optimization
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Telecommunications, Wireless Engineering, or a related field
Preferred Qualifications
T-Mobile small cell deployment experience
5G NR Sub-6 GHz experience
VoLTE/VoNR experience
Experience with RF planning tools such as Atoll, Planet, or iBwave
