MS Dynamics 365 Developer

MailerMen is hiring an MS Dynamics 365 Developer to build, customise and support solutions on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE), the part of Dynamics 365 that runs customer-facing processes such as service and sales. This is a hands-on development position: the work is writing and configuring the solution itself, rather than gathering requirements and handing specifications to someone else to build, so the role suits a developer who wants to stay close to the code and the configuration.
Day to day you will customise tables and entities, forms, views, business rules, workflows, business process flows and security roles in Dynamics 365 Customer Service, and develop features within the Sales module. A business process flow is the guided, stage-by-stage path a record follows through a process, and security roles decide which users can see and change which records, so both need careful design. On top of that configuration you will build plugins, which are custom pieces of code that run automatically when a record is created or updated, along with custom workflow activities, JavaScript customisations and API-based integrations.
You will also develop and maintain solutions on Microsoft Power Platform, using Power Apps, Power Automate and Power Pages (formerly Power Portal) over Dataverse, the shared data store behind Dynamics 365 and Power Platform, and work with Microsoft Copilot and related AI capabilities inside that ecosystem. Integration work covers connecting Dynamics 365 to external applications and using Azure services for integrations and data processing. The team works in Agile sprints, so you will join sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews and retrospectives, take part in code reviews, follow Microsoft development and security practices, support testing and deployment, and keep technical documentation current. At least one valid Microsoft certification in Dynamics 365 or Power Platform is mandatory for this role, and a valid passport is mandatory as well.

Responsibilities
Develop, customise and support Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE and Customer Service solutions.

Develop and maintain plugins, custom workflow activities, JavaScript customisations and APIs.
Integrate Dynamics 365 with external applications and services.
Work with Azure services for integrations and data processing.
Troubleshoot application issues, debug problems and resolve defects.
Take part in code reviews and follow Microsoft development and security best practices.
Support unit testing, integration testing, deployment and production issue resolution.
Prepare technical documentation and collaborate with senior developers, architects, QA teams and business stakeholders.
Requirements
3–4 years of hands-on development experience with Dynamics 365 CE and Customer Service.
Strong understanding of Dynamics 365 customisation and development.
Practical experience with entities and tables, forms, views, workflows, business rules, security roles and business process flows.
Exposure to the Dynamics 365 Sales module.
Working experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages and Dataverse.
Experience developing Dynamics 365 plugins and custom workflow activities.
Practical JavaScript skills for client-side customisation.
Experience working with APIs and Dynamics 365 integrations.
Working knowledge of Azure services used for integrations and data processing.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio and related AI capabilities.
At least one valid Microsoft certification in Dynamics 365 or Power Platform is mandatory.
A valid passport is mandatory.
