About the Opportunity
The hiring organization is seeking an organized, adaptable, and proactive Senior Creative Operations Manager - US-Based to join its Creative Team. Reporting to the Director of Creative Operations, this role owns the operational side of the creative process from intake through delivery, partnering closely with Creative Leads and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure projects are well-defined, appropriately prioritized, and delivered on time and aligned with the brief.
Operating in an environment where priorities can shift quickly, this role requires a confident problem solver and strong collaborator who can bring structure to complexity, anticipate challenges, and create clarity across multiple projects and stakeholders. The position plays a key role in identifying opportunities to improve workflows, increase operational efficiency, and provide regular visibility into project health—addressing issues, dependencies, and risks before they become blockers.
This is a full-time, remote position based in the United States. Candidates must work within one hour of Eastern Time (US). Visa sponsorship or assistance is not offered, and applicants must be authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire. All resumes and communication must be submitted in English.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as a primary operations partner for complex creative projects across channels, including advertising campaigns, video, podcasts, and social initiatives.
Own project planning and execution from intake through final delivery, developing project plans, roadmaps, timelines, and milestones while maintaining accurate status and documentation within project management platforms.
Review incoming creative briefs and partner with the Director of Creative Operations to manage the weekly intake process, ensuring projects are clearly scoped, prioritized, and ready before kickoff.
Evaluate timelines, team capacity, and project assignments while identifying and resolving gaps or questions early.
Partner with Creative Leads and cross-functional stakeholders to balance business priorities, resources, and deadlines while proactively mitigating risks and capacity constraints.
Facilitate project kickoffs and weekly status meetings, documenting and communicating deliverables, owners, timelines, decisions, and next steps.
Provide regular reporting and updates to maintain clear visibility into priorities, project health, and overdue, at-risk, or blocked deliverables.
Escalate complex or high-impact operational issues to leadership with context and recommended solutions.
Identify and implement opportunities to streamline workflows, refine processes, and elevate efficiency across the creative workflow.
Actively contribute as a high-performing individual contributor, solving problems, improving team operations, and supporting a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Milestones and Expectations
In the first week: Meet key team members and cross-functional partners; gain a thorough understanding of the organization, business operations, and value proposition; review brand guidelines, messaging, and governance processes; and learn team structures, priorities, and operating cadences.
In the first month: Develop a deep understanding of incoming creative briefs; independently build project timelines and deliverable milestones; coordinate and facilitate project kickoffs; gain proficiency in internal project management tools; and establish regular status tracking cadences.
In the first three months: Independently manage multiple creative projects from intake to delivery exercising sound discretion and judgment; build strong relationships with Creative Leads and stakeholders; identify workflow challenges; and develop an understanding of team capacity and project dependencies.
In the first six months: Plan and manage timelines across multiple quarterly priorities; assume ownership of increasingly complex, cross-functional initiatives; contribute to documenting operational processes; and assist in creating scalable onboarding resources for the operations team.
In the first year: Take a strategic approach to creative operations processes to improve efficiency, clarity, and predictability; build sustained cross-functional partnerships; and assume expanded operational responsibilities to advance the creative operations function.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree.
5+ years of project or creative operations experience within an advertising agency, design studio, creative department, or similar environment.
Demonstrated experience managing multiple creative projects with competing priorities and deadlines.
Strong understanding of creative workflows and the demonstrated ability to translate business needs into clear, actionable project plans.
Hands-on experience working with project management tools such as Asana, Jira, Trello, Monday.com, or similar platforms.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to articulate project requirements, status, risks, and decisions clearly.
Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
Resourceful, calm, and solutions-oriented approach when managing shifting priorities and tight deadlines.
Strong collaboration and relationship-building capabilities across creative and non-creative teams.
Proactive mindset with a proven record of identifying opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency.
Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and take ownership within a fast-paced, collaborative setting.
Essential Job Functions
Regularly and reliably attend scheduled virtual team meetings on camera.

Employment Details and Compensation
Classification: Full-Time / Exempt.
Work Location: Remote (candidates must reside in the United States and work within one hour of Eastern Time).
Work Authorization: Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire; visa sponsorship or assistance is not available.
Compensation Determination: Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
