Role Description The Administration Manager is responsible for overseeing day-to-day administrative operations to ensure smooth functioning of Novel Jewels’ Mumbai office and retail environment. This full-time, on-site role includes managing office facilities, coordinating vendor and service provider relationships, supervising administrative support staff, and ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures. The role involves managing office supplies and equipment, coordinating travel and logistics, supporting event and meeting planning, and maintaining records and documentation in line with compliance requirements. The Administration Manager will collaborate closely with HR, finance, and store operations to support budgeting, reporting, and operational efficiency. The individual will also be expected to identify process improvements, implement best practices in administration, and provide timely support to leadership and cross-functional teams.
Qualifications
Strong office administration and facilities management skills, including vendor coordination and resource planning.
Proficiency in documentation, record-keeping, and basic compliance practices relevant to corporate and retail environments.
Solid organizational, time-management, and multitasking abilities to handle multiple priorities effectively.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and external partners.
Comfort with using office productivity tools (e.g., MS Office, email, spreadsheets) and learning new systems as needed.
Experience in managing budgets, overseeing administrative costs, and supporting procurement processes is beneficial.
Prior experience in administration or operations within retail, luxury, or consumer-facing businesses is an advantage.
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, or a related field is preferred, along with a track record of reliability and ethical conduct.
