Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai for a Senior Manager Supply Chain and Warehouse. The role involves overseeing end-to-end supply chain operations, including demand forecasting, procurement planning, vendor coordination, and inventory management for educational materials and center supplies. The Senior Manager will manage warehouse operations, ensuring accurate stock levels, efficient storage, timely dispatches, and adherence to safety and compliance standards. Responsibilities include optimizing logistics and distribution networks, monitoring KPIs, implementing process improvements, and controlling costs while maintaining service quality to centers. The role also requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, developing and enforcing SOPs, leading and mentoring warehouse and supply chain staff, and supporting expansion plans through scalable systems and processes.
Qualifications
Strong supply chain management skills, including demand planning, procurement coordination, and vendor management.
Proficiency in warehouse operations such as inventory control, storage optimization, dispatch planning, and stock reconciliation.
Experience with logistics and distribution management, including transport planning, route optimization, and third-party logistics coordination.
Ability to use ERP or warehouse management systems, and strong skills in data analysis, reporting, and KPI tracking.
Demonstrated leadership abilities in managing teams, developing SOPs, driving process improvements, and ensuring compliance and safety standards.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Logistics, or a related field; a relevant postgraduate qualification or professional certification (e.g., APICS, CSCP) is an advantage.
Prior experience in managing multi-location supply chains or distribution networks, preferably in education, retail, or FMCG sectors.
