Jewelry CAD designer

Role Description
The Jewelry CAD Designer will create detailed 2D and 3D CAD models for rings, necklaces, earrings, and other jewelry pieces, translating design concepts and sketches into production-ready digital files.
The role involves collaborating closely with jewelry designers and artisans to ensure technical accuracy, structural integrity, and manufacturability of designs.
Qualifications
Should have 4-5 years of experience in indian polki and natural diamond jewellery.
Candidates should possess proficiency with industry-standard software (e.g., Rhino, Matrix, JewelCAD, CAD-based rendering tools).
Candidates should possess skills in jewelry design visualization, such as 3D modeling, rendering, and the ability to interpret hand sketches and reference images.
Candidates should possess knowledge of jewelry manufacturing processes, including casting, stone setting, metalwork, and practical design constraints for wearable pieces.
Candidates should possess design and aesthetic skills, including an eye for detail, form, proportion, and an understanding of contemporary and traditional Indian jewelry styles.
Candidates should possess collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work closely with designers, artisans, and production teams, and to incorporate feedback efficiently.
Candidates should possess strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects, maintain design files, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Diploma or degree in Jewelry Design, Industrial Design, CAD/CAM, or a related field is preferred; equivalent practical experience in jewelry CAD design is also valued.
Prior experience in a jewelry design studio, manufacturing unit, is an advantage.
