GIS Testing Analyst

We are hiring a GIS Testing Analyst
Experience: 5-8 Years
Mode: Hybrid
Location: Bangalore
Notice Period: Immediate to 15 Days
Key responsibilities:
Work with the Functional Analysts and Tech Teams- understand the functional and Technical Requirements to identify the Test Scenarios and Test Cases
Develop and document comprehensive GIS test plans, strategies, and test cases based on requirements, segregate into Desktop, Web and Mobile platforms as needed
Work with the DB team to review Data QA and Acceptance criteria
Work with Testing COE and Test Teams in planning and executing Test cases.
Help Testing team in Building Test scripts for GIS driven scenarios.
Help Building GIS Test automation for functional scenarios, both for desktop and web environment.
Understanding Functional requirements and the Tech Solution as per documentation (or explained by the Lead) Conduct ST, SIT, facilitate UAT Defect Management and Resolution
Go-Live support for sanity testing and developing specific business scenarios for testing.
Prior experience in GIS Testing assignments will be an advantage
Essential Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years’ working experience with Esri ArcGIS Software (Enterprise, ArcGIS Pro, Online)
Understanding of ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Enterprise Architecture- ArcGIS Server, Portal, data Store etc.
Experience in ArcGIS Pro Map creation, analysis, Geoprocessing and Arcade
Understanding of ArcGIS Pro concepts: Maps, Projects, Layout templates, Editing Templates, Tasks etc.
Understanding of Esri geoprocessing tools: model Builder
Basic GIS concepts: Topology, Connectivity, Utility Network, Projection Systems etc.
Understanding of Esri performance and Testing tools: PerfQAAnalyzer, ArcGIS Monitor etc.
Understanding of Test automation tools i.e. Selenium that can integrate with ArcGIS
Flexibility and the ability to adapt to ever-changing situations
Exemplary problem solver skills and excellent written and verbal communication
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in the Utilities domain will be an added advantage, along with domain knowledge specific to Electric or Gas
Proven knowledge of database design and PL/SQL query, stored procedure and trigger development
Experience with the Agile methodology and Jira software
Advanced Excel capabilities
