Business Development Intern

About the Role:
We are looking for a proactive and confident Business Development – Onboarding Intern to help build and strengthen ThekeYaar's network of contractors and construction professionals. The role is highly
communication-driven and involves speaking with contractors, verifying their information, collecting
contractor details, following up with interested professionals, and helping complete their onboarding.
Key Responsibilities:
• Call contractors from the database provided by the company and introduce them to ThekeYaar in Hindi.
• Make approximately 80–100 calls per day to explain the platform and understand the contractor's interest in joining.
• Verify and collect contractor information including trade, experience, team size, service areas, past work and pricing.
• Follow up with interested contractors through WhatsApp to collect photographs of past work and any pending information.
• Coordinate and schedule verification meetings between shortlisted contractors and the ThekeYaar
team.
• Update contractor records accurately in Google Sheets or the CRM after calls and follow-ups.
• Maintain clear daily records and share a daily report covering calls made, interested contractors and
completed onboardings.
What We're Looking For:
• Communication: Confident, clear and comfortable speaking with new people over the phone.
• Language: Fluent in Hindi; familiarity with Haryanvi or local Delhi NCR speech is a plus.
• Calling comfort: Comfortable making a high volume of calls and handling rejection professionally.
• Attention to detail: Able to accurately collect, verify and maintain information.
• Follow-up: Consistent and organised when following up with interested contractors.
• Basic tools: Comfortable using Google Forms and MS Excel/Google Sheets.
• Ownership: Proactive, reliable and willing to take responsibility for daily targets and reporting.
Eligibility & Requirements:
• Available for a 2-month internship.
• Able to work from home with a laptop, smartphone and stable internet connection.
• Based in Delhi NCR is preferred, particularly for occasional meetings when required.
• Prior experience in tele-calling, sales or business development is preferred but not mandatory.
• Interest in construction, real estate or interiors is an added advantage.
