2. About the Opportunity:
The Professional Service Systems Engineer role is responsible for delivering integration services and specialized support to customers under service level agreements. This position provides technical expertise both remotely and onsite, ensuring successful implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of security products. The role is critical in managing customer expectations, resolving complex technical issues, and acting as a trusted technical advisor to clients in the US and EMEA regions.
3. Responsibilities:
Provide hands-on installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and customer acceptance testing of security products
Perform cybersecurity management tasks including deployment, monitoring, vulnerability scanning, and reporting
Coach customer personnel on day-to-day operation of products
Ensure customer satisfaction through on-site solution implementation
Serve as technical authority via on-site, phone, and electronic support
Complete complex technical tasks including proof of concept engagements
Manage communication and coordination among technical teams and customers
Assist in developing strategies to expand Premier support accounts
4. Requirements:
Minimum 4 years technical experience with physical access control, video, and intrusion detection systems
Knowledge of relevant product lines and technologies such as storage arrays (SAN/NAS), virtualization (VMware, Microsoft Virtual Server), and Microsoft Cluster technology
Familiarity with government technical standards and publications (e.g., HSPD-12, FISMA, NIST)
Certifications preferred: CISSP, MCSE/MCITP, CCNA, Security+, Network+ or equivalent
Working knowledge of Windows Server (2012–2022), Windows 10/11, SQL Server (2016–2022), Active Directory, Group Policy, DHCP, DNS, IIS
Experience with security tools such as Tenable Nessus, ACAS, SCAP Scanner, and WSUS
US citizenship with ability to pass federal background check and obtain security clearance
Ability to travel up to 50% and work remotely
Strong problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience with government agencies and policies is highly desirable
Sales experience and PKI/Smartcard knowledge are a plus
5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:
The pay range and compensation package for this role will be determined based on the candidate’s experience, skills, and other relevant factors.
