2. About the Opportunity:
The Front End Web Applications Developer (Junior) role involves contributing to the design, development, and support of a Budget and Spend web application. This position is responsible for enhancing user interfaces and implementing new features to improve the functionality and performance of the application. The role supports a Washington, DC based customer and requires maintaining a Public Trust clearance.
3. Responsibilities:
Build enterprise planning and reporting applications using SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) or web technologies such as JavaScript
Review application requirements and interface designs
Develop and implement interactive UI/UX components
Monitor and enhance front-end performance
Document application changes and updates
Provide feedback on UI/UX design feasibility
Optimize applications for scalability and speed
Participate in code reviews and collaborate with team members
4. Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience
Minimum 2 years of software engineering experience with front-end technologies (JavaScript, HTML5, CSS)
Strong understanding of JavaScript and related intricacies
Experience with REST APIs and data formats such as XML and JSON
Familiarity with Object Oriented Programming, web development, and debugging
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Strong programming and communication skills
Public Trust clearance
U.S. citizenship to maintain federal clearance
Desired:
Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud
Experience with Federal, State, Local, or Higher Education organizations
Understanding of standard SDLC, lean, and agile practices
5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:
The proposed salary for this position is: $73,000—$122,700 USD
