Role Description The Molecular Biologist will work on-site in Delhi, India in a full-time capacity, supporting the diagnostic laboratory with molecular and microbiological testing. Daily responsibilities include performing DNA sequencing and other molecular assays, preparing and processing samples, maintaining laboratory equipment, and following established protocols and quality control procedures. The role involves interpreting and documenting results, ensuring accurate data entry, and collaborating with other laboratory staff and healthcare professionals. The Molecular Biologist will also contribute to method optimization, troubleshooting technical issues, and maintaining compliance with safety, regulatory, and accreditation standards.
Qualifications
Strong foundational knowledge in Biology and Microbiology, with the ability to apply theoretical concepts to diagnostic laboratory work.
Proficiency in Laboratory Skills, including sample handling, preparation, and use of standard molecular biology equipment.
Hands-on experience with Sequencing techniques and DNA Sequencing workflows used in clinical or research settings.
Attention to detail and commitment to quality control, documentation, and adherence to laboratory safety protocols.
Relevant academic background such as a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Microbiology, or a related field.
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team and communicate findings clearly to colleagues and supervisors.
Prior experience in a clinical or diagnostic laboratory environment is an advantage.
