Location: Remote, open to candidates in Türkiye and the European Union, with at least 4 hours of daily overlap with Istanbul, GMT+3

About the role
We're looking for a senior engineer who is equally at home in mobile and backend to join our Product Development team. Our app is the product surface for a hardware device, and the most interesting problems live in the seam between helmet, app and cloud. You'll work across our Flutter app and backend alongside our mobile and backend engineers, bringing a second senior perspective to both sides and helping work that spans the stack move faster.
What you'll do
Build features across the Flutter app and backend, from API design and data modelling through to what ships in both stores. Work on the BLE link between app and helmet, including connection state, reconnection, background modes and device fragmentation. Contribute to offline-first data flows with local persistence, sync and conflict resolution. Help strengthen iOS and Android release mechanics: signing, TestFlight, store review and CI. Review code on both sides, share what you know, and help raise the engineering bar as the team grows. You're comfortable working from written requirements and taking a problem from spec to shipped.
What we're looking for
6+ years of professional experience, with apps live in both iOS and Google Play app stores today and comparable depth on the backend: API design, data modelling, auth, async jobs, observability, and comfort with Firebase/GCP. Production BLE experience and hands-on offline-first sync. Fluent English. Bonus points for consumer hardware companion apps, wearable and health data integrations (Oura, Apple HealthKit, Health Connect, Garmin, or aggregators like Terra), writing and maintaining tests, GDPR and health data handling in practice, joining and building on an existing codebase, and using AI in your workflow to ship production code.
