Role Description The Designer role at JINDAL PREFAB PVT LTD is a full-time, on-site position based in Koil. The Designer will create and refine drawings and layouts for prefabricated structures, ensuring designs meet safety standards, functional requirements, and client specifications. Day-to-day tasks include preparing detailed design documents, coordinating with engineers and project managers, revising designs based on feedback, and maintaining accurate records of plans and revisions. The role also involves reviewing site and project information, suggesting design improvements, and supporting the preparation of materials lists and basic cost estimates. The Designer will collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely completion of design deliverables that align with project schedules.
Qualifications
Ability to create and interpret technical drawings and construction plans using design or drafting tools.
Understanding of structural design principles, materials used in prefabricated construction, and basic building standards.
Strong attention to detail, accuracy in documentation, and ability to manage multiple design tasks simultaneously.
Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with engineers, project managers, and clients.
Basic project coordination skills, including organizing design files and tracking revisions.
Relevant diploma or degree in design, architecture, civil engineering, or a related field.
Prior experience in building design, prefabricated structures, or construction projects is an advantage.
Willingness to work on-site in Koil and adapt to project needs and timelines.
