About Alright TV
Alright TV is a micro-drama OTT platform built for immersive, short-form storytelling. We’re building high-engagement content experiences where technology, product, and design come together to create seamless ways for users to discover, watch, and engage with content.
We’re now expanding our in-house technology capabilities and are looking for a Frontend Engineer to help build and scale our consumer-facing product.
About the Role
As a Frontend Engineer, you will be responsible for building high-performance, responsive, and engaging user interfaces for Alright TV.
You will work closely with Product, Design, and Backend teams to build new features, integrate APIs, optimize performance, and continuously improve the overall user experience.
This is an ownership-driven contractual role where you will contribute across the frontend lifecycle — from development and deployment to performance optimization and ongoing improvements.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain frontend applications and reusable UI components.
Build responsive, scalable, and high-performance user interfaces.
Work with Flutter and React to develop consumer-facing experiences.
Integrate backend APIs and manage efficient data flow.
Implement and maintain frontend state management.
Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and responsiveness.
Ensure cross-platform compatibility and mobile-first experiences.
Collaborate with Product, Design, and Backend teams to deliver new features.
Debug and resolve frontend, performance, and usability issues.
Take ownership of frontend systems across development, deployment, performance, and lifecycle management.
Leverage AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot to improve development workflows.
Requirements
3–5 years of experience in frontend development.
Strong hands-on experience with Flutter and React.
Experience building consumer-facing applications/products.
Strong understanding of frontend architecture and reusable components.
Experience with REST APIs/API integration and state management.
Understanding of frontend performance optimization.
Good understanding of responsive and mobile-first design.
Experience working with cross-functional Product, Design, and Backend teams.
Experience with AI coding assistants such as Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot.
Experience in OTT, media, gaming, entertainment, or consumer technology is preferred.
