Job Description:
Staff Accountant
RiseIT® is a dedicated software and technology services company ready to empower businesses across the globe.
Reporting to the US based CFO, the Staff Accountant will be responsible for assigned day to day accounting duties.
Job duties include but not limited to:
· Assigned monthly and year end closing duties by the monthly deadline established
· Assigned Balance Sheet reconciliations
· Supporting with management of the General Ledger
· Bank Reconciliations and Cash applications
· Voucher payable invoices,
· Vouchering employee expense reports
· Process the company credit card bills and process payments on time
· Answer inquiries from vendors, suppliers, and employees
· Customer payments applications consistent with the invoice the customer payment
· Other accounting tasks as assigned
Requirements:
· Work-onsite 5 days/week
· Work during US business hours (Night shift IST)
· Must have worked US business for at least two years recently
Work Location: Somajiguda, Hyderabad.
Qualifications:
· Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance with 10+ years of Accounting experience working for US based Companies as a Staff Accountant
· Certifications in Accounting preferred
· 10 +years of experience in accounting in a small to mid-sized company with exposure to all aspects of the General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable.
· Project / Job Cost Accounting experience preferred
· Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite) and MS Office, particularly Excel. Advanced Excel skills are essential, including VLOOKUPs, PivotTables, and data analysis.
· Proficiency in billing systems like Job Diva, or similar preferred.
· Knowledge of US GAAP and financial regulations
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
· Ability to meet strict deadlines for financial reporting.
