Role Description This is a full-time, on-site DevOps Engineer role based in Nagpur, Maharashtra. The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to support web and mobile application development. Daily tasks include managing and automating infrastructure, monitoring system performance, ensuring high availability, and collaborating with developers to streamline deployment processes. The role involves working with cloud platforms, optimizing Linux-based environments, enhancing security and reliability, and troubleshooting production issues. The DevOps Engineer will also contribute to process improvement, documentation, and tooling that support scalable and efficient delivery of AgarkarMedia’s services.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Infrastructure as Code (IaC) skills, including experience with tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar solutions.
Candidates should possess Software Development and scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash, or other relevant languages) to build automation and integrations.
Candidates should possess Continuous Integration and delivery expertise, including experience with CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar tools.
Candidates should possess System Administration and Linux skills, including managing servers, configuring services, and monitoring system health.
Relevant skills and qualifications that would be beneficial include experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure, familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and knowledge of networking and security best practices.
A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.
Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams are essential.
