We are looking for a Senior Java Developer to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-impact projects within a collaborative, forward-thinking engineering environment. Responsibilities
Build and maintain scalable REST APIs, deploying them to a Docker and Kubernetes-based platform
Partner with Engineering, QA, and Product stakeholders to ensure the right solutions are being built
Work alongside a team of skilled engineers dedicated to creating industry-leading software
Champion practices and techniques that increase development speed and reduce risk through reusable components and automated processes
Lead the development and testing of system components and services, including code and design reviews
Contribute to shaping the product's technical architecture
Mentor fellow engineers, reinforce a strong technical culture, and support team growth
Propose ideas for new initiatives and emerging technologies
Requirements
3+ years of hands-on, relevant experience with at least one programming language such as Java 8+ or Kotlin
Proficiency with SQL and ORM technologies for data management and persistence
Strong background working within the Spring ecosystem, particularly Spring Boot
Experience working with Kafka and ApacheMQ for messaging and event processing
Practical experience working in Linux environments
Solid communication skills with working English fluency at B2 level or higher, supporting clear understanding of business requirements and their translation into technical solutions
Nice to have
Experience working with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration
Familiarity with public cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS
Exposure to various aspects of agile test automation practices
Experience using Gradle as a build automation tool
Background scaling highly available, mission-critical systems
Experience building or modernizing large-scale, complex systems
