Role Description The Area Sales Manager role at Innomedix Pharma is a full-time, on-site position based in Noida. This role is responsible for achieving sales targets within the assigned territory by promoting the company’s pharmaceutical products to healthcare professionals and key accounts. Day-to-day activities include planning and executing territory-wise sales strategies, conducting regular client visits, organizing product presentations, and strengthening relationships with doctors, hospitals, and distributors. The Area Sales Manager will monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform sales plans and ensure timely reporting to leadership. The role also includes managing a field sales team where applicable, ensuring compliance with company policies, and supporting brand visibility through local marketing initiatives.
Qualifications
Proven experience in pharmaceutical sales or healthcare sales, preferably in an area or territory management role.
Strong relationship-building skills with doctors, hospitals, and distributors, with the ability to influence and negotiate professionally.
Ability to analyze sales data, monitor territory performance, and use insights to adjust plans and meet targets.
Solid understanding of basic pharmacology concepts, product positioning, and regulatory guidelines relevant to pharmaceutical sales.
Effective communication and presentation skills, with proficiency in preparing reports and sales documentation.
Self-motivated approach with strong time management, planning, and organizational skills for field-based work.
Comfort with using CRM tools, spreadsheets, and other digital platforms to track activities and performance.
Bachelor’s degree in science, pharmacy, business, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent commercial qualification is an advantage.
Willingness to travel regularly within the assigned area and work flexible hours as required by customer schedules.
Commitment to ethical sales practices and adherence to all company and regulatory compliance standards.
