About the opportunity
We're looking for a bright, energetic, hands-on software engineer to grow our software development team and its capabilities. You will be depended on for professional skills and expertise in developing robust, scalable software, and contributing to both front-end and back-end components. You will closely collaborate with peers in adjacent functional areas to plan, deliver and maintain products aligned with the company's goals and vision. You will find yourself immersed in a variety of activities, from architecting software components for scalability, through implementing innovative UI designs to fulfill user requests, to fixing issues and reviewing code changes to ensure product quality. It is a career characterized by constant evolution – one where technical acumen, interpersonal skills, and a forward-thinking mindset are crucial. Our products are built primarily on C# and the .NET stack, with rich desktop and cross-platform user interfaces (WPF and .NET MAUI).
What you will be doing
•Design and implement effective backend services, secure communication protocols and interfaces, scalable data storage and retrieval mechanisms, and other software components.
•Design and implement effective and desirable user-facing software components.
•Contribute to deliverables throughout the software lifecycle including planning, risk assessment, design, implementation, testing, technical investigations, configuration management, project management, and documentation.
•Ensure the quality, reliability, security, and predictability of software deliverables by following and continually improving best practices for software engineering and testing.
•Use AI coding agents to accelerate implementation and UI development, reviewing and validating their output to ensure quality, security, and compliance.
•Stay up-to-date with tools, innovations and professional knowledge relevant to the development of new features and functionality.
What you will need to be successful
Required
•BSc or MSc degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent experience.
•4-7 years of product-oriented software development experience.
•Mastery of C# and the .NET ecosystem.
•Experience with industry tools and methodologies such as agile development, CI/CD and test automation.
•Skilled at directing AI coding agents (Claude, Copilot, ChatGPT, and similar) to update code and develop UI designs, with the judgment to review, validate, and refine AI-generated output for quality and security.
•Ability to architect software for maintainability, scalability, and testability.
•Accomplishments in delivering quality and timely software products.
•Strong initiative, collaboration, and attention to detail and quality, whether working independently or in a team.
•Forward-looking problem-solving and analytical skills.
Experience with relevant technologies is a plus, including:
•Regulated industry and global R&D team environments.
•Medical device connectivity and 3rd party integration (DICOM, HL7, REST API).
•SQL and NoSQL databases.
•Cloud infrastructure and scalability (e.g., Azure, AWS, Docker, K8S).
•AD, SSO, and identity providers.
