Android Framework
Our Android app is 100% Kotlin, with all new UI in Jetpack Compose. It runs in English and Arabic, light and dark mode, on phones and tablets.
The role
We're hiring a Junior Android Developer who recently graduated with a Computer Science degree. You should be able to turn a Figma design into a screen that matches it exactly, and Claude Code should already be a core part of how you build software, not an occasional autocomplete.

What you'll do
Turn Figma designs into pixel-perfect Compose screens. That includes spacing, typography, colors, component states and motion, in light/dark, LTR/RTL (Arabic), on phones and tablets.
Build and extend our in-house design system. Its color tokens come straight from Figma variables.
Ship features end to end across our clean architecture: Compose UI → Hilt ViewModels with StateFlow → use cases → repositories on Retrofit, Room and Paging 3.
Work on the feed, stories, video playback (Media3 / ExoPlayer), media uploads, notifications and in-app subscriptions.
Use Claude Code to move fast, while owning and understanding every line it writes.
Follow a professional Git workflow: one feature branch per change, Conventional Commits, and reviewed pull requests.
What we're looking for
A Bachelor's in Computer Science (or Computer Engineering), class of 2025 or 2026.
Strong CS fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, OOP and basic concurrency.
Hands-on Kotlin and Jetpack Compose: layouts, modifiers, state hoisting, recomposition, lazy lists and theming.
A sharp eye for UI. You read Figma auto-layout, constraints, variables and variants, and you notice when something is 2dp off.
Real, regular use of Claude Code. You know how to give it context (CLAUDE.md, a plan, the right files), break work into steps it handles well, and review and test what it produces.
Git and GitHub: branches, pull requests and resolving merge conflicts.
Clear written and spoken English. Arabic is a must, since you'll be building RTL screens.
