Knowing who owns the house could be worth £500 to £2,000. We’re looking for people who know the local property market, can reach owners and turn an introduction into a business conversation.
MadeStays is recruiting independent Property Acquisition Partners for its planned expansion into selected Cotswolds and English countryside locations.
Our initial focus includes Cirencester, Burford, Stow on the Wold, Bourton on the Water, Chipping Campden and Broadway.
Contract: Self employed independent contractor
Pay: Commission only, £500 to £2,000 per successful qualifying opportunity
Hours: Flexible
Experience: At least one year in sales
There is no salary, guaranteed income, fixed schedule or guaranteed workload.

We help property owners and professional operators improve how their homes are presented, marketed, distributed and booked through our technology and hospitality expertise.
We’re developing relationships with owners and operators in selected countryside locations, assessing suitable homes and establishing where our services can be delivered.
The role
You’ll use your local knowledge and contacts to identify suitable cottages, country houses and premium group accommodation, then connect their owners or operators with MadeStays.
Your work will include:
• Building relationships with second home and holiday home owners
• Developing contacts with estate agents, country house managers and local property professionals
• Researching prospects and contacting decision makers directly
• Understanding their properties, priorities and existing operating arrangements
• Explaining the relevant MadeStays services clearly
• Submitting qualifying opportunities through our platform
• Progressing conversations towards consultations and potential agreements
• Keeping your pipeline current, with clear next steps and dates
• Working with the MadeStays team through assessment and internal review
MadeStays assesses each opportunity and agrees the commercial terms. Acquisition Partners cannot approve properties, promise financial returns or enter into agreements on our behalf.
Local knowledge matters
You might know owners considering holiday letting, agents with suitable property contacts, or established accommodation businesses looking for support with marketing and bookings.
We’re looking for partners who can use those relationships to reach decision makers, understand their needs and develop opportunities.
You’ll have access to a dedicated platform to manage your pipeline, structured onboarding, approved sales materials and support. You can work flexibly around your existing career, business or other commitments.
What you’ll be introducing
MadeStays supports the presentation, marketing, distribution and booking of qualifying homes.
Our Cotswolds and English countryside programme is part of a planned expansion. This initial phase focuses on building owner relationships and identifying suitable opportunities in the selected locations.
The service available to each owner or operator will depend on the property assessment and confirmed operational coverage. Coverage is not available throughout the entire Cotswolds or English countryside.
Every property is assessed. Only qualifying homes are published.
Commission
• £500 for an approved Marketing & Booking operator
• £1,000 for an exceptional Marketing & Booking operator, subject to written approval
• £1,000 for an approved Fully Managed property
• £2,000 for an exceptional Fully Managed property, subject to written approval
• Bespoke commission for Fully Managed portfolios containing multiple properties
MadeStays determines the final service model, property classification and applicable commission. Commission is earned and paid according to the current Acquisition Partner Agreement.
Who this suits
You’ll need:
• At least one year of sales experience
• Demonstrable local property knowledge or established relationships with owners and property professionals
• Confidence approaching owners and business decision makers
• Strong written and spoken English
• The ability to manage your own pipeline and follow up consistently
• The ability to travel within the selected territory when required
Familiarity with premium holiday accommodation, second homes, country houses or the local property market is particularly useful.
Experience in estate agency, lettings, holiday accommodation, property sourcing, hospitality or business development is relevant.
