Position Overview
Seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead Workday, HRIS, and Payroll transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing enterprise HR technology projects, including Workday implementations, payroll transformations, system upgrades, data migrations, and process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Workday, HRIS, and Payroll implementation/transformation projects from planning through deployment.
Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, resources, milestones, and dependencies.
Manage large, cross-functional teams across HR, Payroll, Finance, IT, and external vendors.
Lead governance meetings, steering committees, status reviews, and executive reporting.
Manage project risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies (RAID), and escalations.
Oversee testing, data migration, integrations, payroll readiness, deployment, and post-go-live activities.
Drive stakeholder communication, change management, training, and business readiness.
Manage vendors, consultants, contractors, and project resources.
Required Qualifications
Proven experience managing Workday, HRIS, HCM, and/or Payroll implementations.
Experience with Workday Payroll, HCM, Benefits, Time Tracking, Recruiting, or related modules.
Experience managing large, complex, cross-functional projects.
Strong experience with project planning, risk management, testing, deployment, and change management.
Excellent stakeholder management, executive communication, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
Experience with ADP, UKG, Oracle HCM, SAP SuccessFactors, Dayforce, or similar platforms.
Experience with global HR/payroll transformation initiatives.
PMP, Scrum Master, Agile, or related certification.
Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Teams, SharePoint, and Office Suite.
