We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Regional Lead – Government Institutional Sales (GIS) to drive business growth, strengthen institutional relationships, and expand our footprint in the government sector.
About the Role:
As a Regional Lead – GIS, you will be responsible for overseeing business operations, sales performance, and strategic growth across your assigned region. The role requires building strong relationships with government institutions, driving specification business, influencing project decisions, and ensuring revenue growth for Jaquar's Complete Bathroom Solutions (CBS) and Complete Lighting Solutions (CLS).
You will act as a strategic link between regional stakeholders and the corporate team while ensuring operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
✅ Drive regional sales revenue and business growth
✅ Develop and execute government & institutional sales strategies
✅ Manage key stakeholder and institutional relationships
✅ Increase specification business through BOQ approvals and project mock-ups
✅ Expand and strengthen GIS account portfolio
✅ Ensure timely collections and account management
✅ Lead distribution planning and market expansion initiatives
✅ Support team development, hiring, and performance management
✅ Conduct market intelligence, competitor analysis, and business planning
✅ Drive new product introductions and brand visibility initiatives
Preferred Candidate Profile
✔ Experience in Government, Institutional, Project, B2B, Building Materials, Sanitaryware, Lighting, Electrical, Construction, or Allied Industries
✔ Proven experience in mid to premium segment sales
✔ Strong network within Government & Institutional ecosystems
✔ Ability to identify opportunities, create demand, and deliver customized solutions
✔ Strong track record in lead generation, business development, and target achievement
✔ Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
✔ Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities
