About the Role
We are a fast-growing, founder-led direct-to-consumer (D2C) company. We're looking for a Social Media & Influencer Executive to handle our day-to-day organic social media execution primarily on Instagram — alongside owning influencer relationships end to end. You'll ensure content goes out at the right time, in the right way, while also identifying, onboarding, and managing influencers who represent the brand.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media
Schedule and publish content (reels, posts, stories) across social platforms — knowing the right day, time, and format for maximum reach.
Maintain and update the content calendar in line with the strategy set by Founder.
Write clear, error-free captions and copy in English for posts, reels, and stories.
Track day-to-day performance (reach, engagement, saves, shares, follower growth) and report on what's working.
Engage with the community — respond to comments, DMs, and relevant conversations in the brand's niche.
Stay updated on trending formats, audio, and cultural moments, and flag opportunities to the Organic Marketing Head.
Coordinate with video editors to ensure content is ready and posted on schedule.
Influencer Management
Identify and shortlist relevant influencers/creators for the brand's niche.
Reach out to influencers, pitch collaborations, and negotiate basic terms (barter/paid).
Brief influencers clearly on deliverables, timelines, and brand guidelines.
Follow up on content delivery, review it for brand fit, and coordinate posting schedules.
Maintain relationships with influencers for repeat collaborations.
Track and report on influencer campaign performance (reach, engagement, conversions where applicable).
Keep records of influencer contracts, payments, and deliverables organized.
Must-Have Skills & Qualifications
Strong written and spoken English — you'll be communicating directly with influencers and drafting captions/copy.
Good understanding of when and how to post for reach — timing, formats, hashtags, platform best practices.
Experience reaching out to, negotiating with, and managing influencers/creators.
Comfortable using social media scheduling and analytics tools.
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple influencers/deadlines at once.
Familiarity with trends, reels, memes, and niche content culture.
Good to Have (Plus Points)
Existing network of influencers/creators in relevant niches.
Experience using tools like Canva, Meta Business Suite, or influencer marketing platforms.
An eye for good content and what performs well on Instagram.
