About the Role
We are looking for a creative and skilled Freelance Video Editor who can create engaging, high-quality video content for our digital platforms, social media, marketing campaigns, and corporate requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Edit short-form and long-form videos for Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn and other digital platforms.
Create engaging Reels, Shorts, promotional videos, corporate videos and marketing content.
Add transitions, animations, text, subtitles, graphics, sound effects and background music as required.
Perform basic colour correction, audio enhancement and video optimisation.
Convert raw footage into polished and engaging final videos.
Understand the brand's visual style and maintain consistency across content.
Work closely with the marketing/content team to understand video requirements.
Make revisions based on feedback and deliver final videos within agreed timelines.
Keep up with current social media video trends, editing styles and formats.
Required Skills
Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, CapCut or similar editing tools.
Good understanding of video composition, pacing, transitions, typography and storytelling.
Knowledge of editing videos for different social media formats, especially 9:16, 1:1 and 16:9.
Basic knowledge of motion graphics and animation is preferred.
Good sense of visual aesthetics and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Strong communication and ability to incorporate feedback.
Preferred
Experience working with corporate/technology/AI brands.
Experience creating social media Reels and short-form content.
Knowledge of current social media trends.
A strong portfolio/showreel demonstrating previous work.
