Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled Cybersecurity Freelancer to help identify, assess, and address security risks across our systems, applications, and infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in cybersecurity, vulnerability assessment, and security testing.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct vulnerability assessments and security testing.
Identify and analyze security vulnerabilities, threats, and risks.
Perform basic penetration testing of web applications, APIs, and networks.
Review security configurations and recommend improvements.
Monitor and assess potential security incidents.
Prepare security assessment reports with clear findings and recommendations.
Support implementation of security best practices and controls.
Maintain confidentiality of company and client information.
Required SkillsStrong understanding of cybersecurity concepts and practices.
Knowledge of VAPT, penetration testing, network security, and web application security.
Familiarity with tools such as Burp Suite, Nmap, Wireshark, Metasploit, or similar tools.
Basic understanding of OWASP Top 10.
Knowledge of Linux and networking concepts.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good documentation and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Certifications such as CEH, CompTIA Security+, OSCP, or equivalent are preferred.
Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) is an advantage.
Experience working with startups or technology companies is a plus.
EngagementFreelance / Project-based engagement.
Work will be assigned based on project requirements.
Compensation will be discussed based on experience, expertise, and project scope.
Immediate availability would be preferred.
