Role Description The NAPS Intern Housing Finance role is an on-site internship based in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. The intern will support the housing finance team in reviewing loan applications, assisting in documentation, and updating case records in internal systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating with internal stakeholders, helping track affordable housing projects, and assisting in basic property data collection and verification. The intern may also support customer-facing teams with information related to social and affordable housing programs, while learning about compliance requirements, lending processes, and portfolio management within the housing finance domain.
Qualifications
Ability to work with Case Management processes, including maintaining accurate records and tracking housing finance cases.
Understanding of Social Housing and Affordable Housing concepts, with interest in policy, inclusion, and community-focused financial solutions.
Basic awareness of Property Management in the context of housing finance, including documentation, tenancy, and asset-related data.
Exposure or interest in Social Services related to housing and financial inclusion, supporting customers in navigating available programs.
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in finance, economics, management, social work, or a related field.
Strong analytical, numerical, and MS Office skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with internal teams and customers.
Willingness to work on-site in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region and learn in a fast-paced, regulated financial services environment.
